A Multi-Content News App For Android With A Full-Scale Web Version

NVision, a multi-content news app and full-scale web site covering games, apps and technology, needed an experienced mobile partner to overhaul its Android client-server application and web version. Softeq was selected to perform the technical and functional enhancements, working with Java/Android on the client and PHP on the server to modernize the user experience.

Softeq refactored NVision’s legacy code and delivered multi-format content feeds (text, images, video), social media integration, and a more user-friendly content view, plus RSS aggregation for NVIDIA’s internal use. The revamped app was featured on Google Play, drove increased downloads and engagement, attracted about 5,000–10,000 unique web visitors daily, and reached over 100,000 users receiving regular content.
