Duluth Trading Company - Customer Case Study

Duluth Trading Company, founded in 1989 and headquartered in Belleville, Wisconsin, designs durable workwear and operates retail and outlet stores across several states. Facing rapid growth and a desire to be closer to customers, Duluth needed omnichannel enablement and a system to treat stores as fulfillment centers rather than paper-based warehouses, so they partnered with Softeon (including Softeon WMS Cloud, Distributed Order Management, Store Inventory Module and Vendor Portal).

Softeon implemented WMS Cloud, a Distributed Order Management system, a Store Inventory Module (SIM) and a Vendor Portal, migrating Duluth from paper to automated voice- and RF-directed operations. As a result, Softeon delivered real-time inventory visibility across the network, increased warehouse productivity and inventory accuracy, and enabled omnichannel fulfillment for a closer-to-customer experience.
