Dietz and Watson, a third‑generation maker of premium deli meats and cheeses, needed a world‑class technology solution to support growing, temperature‑controlled distribution from a 300,000 sq. ft. DC with many product lines. To minimize operational impact they partnered with Black Bear Distribution and selected Softeon to deliver a supply‑chain/WMS solution, using a phased, one‑product‑line‑at‑a‑time rollout over four months.

Softeon implemented its end‑to‑end WMS and supply‑chain execution solution (including an AS400 interface, RF transactions and 100% case serialization), trained ~100 associates in three weeks, and went live over a weekend with zero downtime.
