Buffalo Rock, a family-owned beverage manufacturer since 1901 serving 15,000 retailers and more than 6.5 million people, needed to modernize operations to handle complex manufacturing bills of materials, speed warehouse picking with voice-based workflows, improve gate check-in/check-out, and produce productivity reporting for commissions. To meet these goals, Buffalo Rock engaged Softeon and its suite of solutions, including the Softeon Warehouse Management System (WMS), Yard Management System (YMS) and Transportation Management System (TMS).

Softeon implemented its WMS (with voice picking), YMS for efficient yard and gate processes, and TMS, and delivered productivity reporting to support commission handling. The solution enabled automated handling of complex BOMs, faster picking operations, streamlined yard check-in/check-out, and actionable productivity metrics—improving operational efficiency and visibility across Buffalo Rock’s distribution network.
