Monmouth University partnered with Softdocs to solve paper-heavy records and registration challenges, including deteriorating microfilm and filing cabinets, slow document retrieval, and a tedious transcript request process. Using Softdocs’ ECM platform, Monmouth sought a more efficient way to manage student records and reduce the burden of paper forms on students and staff.

Softdocs implemented electronic transcript requests and delivery, integrated e-forms, print customization, and electronic content management. The result was a streamlined, fully electronic process that eliminated manual copying and mailing costs and allowed Monmouth to process twice as many transcripts in a semester—1,261 versus 656 previously—without adding staff or increasing costs.
