Florence School District One worked with **Softdocs** to address a paper-heavy, slow purchasing and accounts payable process that was creating backlogs and delaying invoice payments. The district had been using Softdocs’ print customization and delivery tools since 2000, and later needed a better way to capture documents directly from its accounting system and manage purchasing workflows more efficiently.
**Softdocs** implemented its ECM Platform, electronic forms, and content management tools to move purchase requisitions, approvals, and invoice handling into a decentralized, school-level workflow. The new process reduced paper, sped up purchasing, and improved AP turnaround; in one example, a purchase order was completed in just **44 minutes**. Florence School District One also reported that checks could be cut the same day and invoices were paid faster, helping maintain better vendor relationships.
