Fayetteville Technical Community College - Customer Case Study

Fayetteville Technical Community College (FTCC) partnered with Softdocs to address growing problems with paper-based processes, limited storage space, and the need to better organize student information across multiple campuses and distance learners. The college was also looking to improve turnaround times in financial aid and other student service departments, while supporting a more environmentally conscious workflow.

Softdocs implemented Etrieve ECM, Etrieve Forms, and workflow capabilities, integrated with Ellucian Colleague, to digitize and streamline document handling across FTCC. As a result, the college reduced reliance on paper, improved file access and organization, and enabled real-time processing and status tracking; in financial aid, turnaround for verification files dropped from weeks to days, helping staff serve students faster and more efficiently.
