Elon University needed to replace its existing content management system after learning it would be sunsetted. With nine departments relying on the old solution, the university was also looking to expand into electronic workflows, reporting, and other ECM capabilities. Softdocs, with its education focus and Ellucian partnership, stood out as a strong fit, along with the ease of use of Etrieve.

Elon University selected Softdocs’ Etrieve platform, along with Serve by Softdocs, to serve as its new ECM solution. The implementation replaced the previous system and expanded the university’s use of workflows and reporting. While the case study does not provide specific quantitative results, Softdocs helped Elon University modernize its ECM environment and better support departmental needs.
