Del Mar College, a higher education institution in Corpus Christi, Texas, needed a better way to manage time-consuming, paper-heavy student services processes across Accounts Receivable, Admissions, Financial Aid, and Registration. Working with Softdocs, the college sought to improve access for students, reduce manual work, and eliminate delays in key processes like payment handling and Title IV reporting.

Softdocs implemented its ECM Platform, electronic forms, and workflow tools to automate receipts, streamline admissions, combine financial aid forms, and speed up census roster submissions. The results included less paper, faster processing, better cross-department access to information, and a more comprehensive audit trail. Del Mar College also reported that Softdocs helped reduce the number of campus visits students needed for financial aid and enabled more timely reporting, improving funding and service delivery.
