Auburn City Schools, a K-12 district in Auburn, Alabama, needed to simplify employee and student processes while keeping pace with best practices for data security and content management. After years of using Softdocs’ earlier Doc e solutions, the district also wanted a more mobile-friendly, modern ECM platform that could better support growing staff and changing workflow needs.

Softdocs helped Auburn City Schools migrate to Etrieve, alongside Serve by Softdocs, with a phased transition and detailed review of forms, documents, and workflows. The district saw major efficiency gains, including reducing finance check printing from 800 to about 30 per month and accounts payable check printing from 500 to about 100, while HR digitized nearly 200 boxes of personnel files and consolidated ten filing cabinets into two. By moving to Softdocs Etrieve, Auburn City Schools improved accessibility, streamlined processes, and gave employees easier self-service access across devices.
