Multinational Technology Hardware, a global leader in technology hardware and software, needed help building a next-generation IoT gateway for smart buildings. The challenge was to securely collect, normalize, and manage data from many devices and protocols while enabling web access, two-way communication, and support for advanced analytics. Softdel was selected to help develop the gateway solution.

Softdel designed and delivered an IoT gateway that connected BACnet, Modbus, and KNX devices, converted raw data into Project Haystack format, and enabled secure remote monitoring and control through web technologies and REST APIs. The solution underwent performance, scalability, and security testing before release, and it delivered a scalable, secure platform with stronger data consolidation, easier analytics, and protection of the client’s IP.
