Leading US Based Manufacturer, a US-based maker of automated HVAC controls, wanted to create a next-generation touch screen interface for monitoring and controlling its HVAC systems. To connect the HVAC controller board to a TFT touch display, the company worked with Softdel to develop a scalable display interface board supporting screens from 7" to 12", with HDMI input and USB HID touch support.

Softdel designed and built the hardware and firmware for the Display Interface Board, including chipset selection, PCB development, power supply, HDMI-to-RGB/LVDS conversion, capacitive touch interfacing, and display resolution configuration. The solution was tested with devices such as Raspberry Pi and HDMI-enabled displays, delivering a highly scalable platform for multiple product lines and helping the customer accelerate time to market with high-quality results.
