Delivered Single Source of Truth (SSOT) for Global Campaign Performances Using Microsoft Azure Platform

Dentsu Aegis Network (DAN), a multinational media and digital marketing communications company, faced significant challenges in managing and reporting on global campaign performance data. Their process was manual, error-prone, and involved sourcing data from numerous digital advertisement systems, making it difficult to provide clients with timely and accurate ROI insights. Softcrylic was engaged to solve this problem and develop a more effective reporting platform using the Microsoft Azure cloud platform.

Softcrylic designed and implemented a cloud-based data processing solution on Microsoft Azure to create a single source of truth. The solution used Azure Functions to build scalable data connectors, Azure Blob Storage for a data lake, and Azure Data Factory for data processing, all feeding into an Azure SQL Warehouse. They utilized Microsoft Power BI for powerful visualization and reporting. This automated platform provided secure, scalable, and timely access to accurate campaign metrics, which was a key factor in retaining a major account totaling over $1 billion in annual advertising budget.
