HPC Group, a privately owned builders’ merchants group with 15 branches, had rapidly expanded and needed to remove manual invoice processing, centralize Accounts Payable to support further acquisitions, and integrate AP with its bespoke ERP system Remedy as part of a group-wide digital transformation. To address these challenges, HPC Group engaged SoftCo to deliver an automated Accounts Payable solution.

SoftCo implemented SoftCo Accounts Payable Automation to capture, match and approve the group’s 90,000 invoices per year and fully integrate with Remedy, achieving 75% straight-through processing and saving hundreds of hours in approval time. The SoftCo solution also centralized query management, improved visibility across the AP workflow, enabled on-time supplier payments and higher tiered discounts, reduced accruals, produced cleaner financial statements, and accelerated year-end close.
