Keltie establishes a cloud platform for improved access to critical IT services

Keltie, a European specialist intellectual property law firm, was struggling with underperforming hybrid IT infrastructure, latency when accessing case management systems from different locations, and the need for more secure, flexible remote work. Softcat PLC supported Keltie as it looked to move critical services to the cloud, including its SQL and IIS-based Inprotech IP practice management solution and a cloud-based Windows Virtual Desktop environment.

Softcat PLC worked closely with Keltie to plan and implement an Azure-based solution with best-practice guidance and minimal disruption to business as usual. The result was improved performance, enhanced resilience, stronger remote access, and double redundancy through multi-region access to UK-based servers, with the added benefit of a scalable platform for future demand.
