Hochtief tests SOFiSTiK 3D reinforcement software in a 30-day trial

The customer, Hochtief Infrastructure GmbH, sought to determine the value of generating reinforcement drawings in-house from a 3D model versus outsourcing this task to subcontractors. They put the BIM and 3D reinforcement software from vendor SOFiSTiK to the test as part of a research project involving a master's and a bachelor's thesis.

SOFiSTiK's solution was evaluated by Hochtief's technical office employees, who were impressed by its functional scope. The results of the test were deemed very promising, demonstrating that the SOFiSTiK software is a capable tool for handling 3D reinforcement modeling and drawing generation independently.
