Basler & Hofmann builds a pedestrian bridge model in 30 days with SOFiSTiK

Basler & Hofmann, an engineering, consulting, and planning company, faced the challenge of designing a complex pedestrian bridge. They needed to efficiently create a BIM model for the project to aid in planning, cost estimation, and documentation. They used SOFiSTiK's Bridge + Infrastructure Modeler (SBIM) to address this.

Using SOFiSTiK's solution alongside Dynamo, the team was able to quickly generate a multitude of design variants. This efficient modeling process provided the foundational BIM model for all subsequent project planning phases. The solution from SOFiSTiK enabled the creation of a detailed model that was directly used for cost estimation, tender documentation, and time scheduling.
