Reduce development time with a model-driven SysML migration solution

SodiusWillert helped the U.S. Department of Defense handle a major systems-model migration challenge. The DoD needed to move a very large IBM Rhapsody SysML model, with about 220,000 elements and 300 diagrams, into Dassault Systèmes Cameo/MagicDraw while preserving model quality and avoiding the time and effort of recreating the data manually.

Using SodiusWillert’s Publisher for Rhapsody, the model migration was automated and converted into a complete MagicDraw model with structure and hierarchy intact. The migration itself took about 30 minutes, the transition to the new tool was completed in about one day after procurement, and the customer completed most of its integrity review within two weeks, reducing engineering effort and helping maintain data accuracy.
