BSS expands to 12 iOS apps with Socket Mobile scanners

BSS Business Software Solutions GmbH, a company that develops software for the timber and veneer industries, faced a challenge with inefficient barcode scanning. Their customers were using Apple device cameras to scan veneer bundle barcodes, which was time-consuming, failed on poorly printed codes, and led to manual entry errors. Their fixed iPad terminals also lacked the flexibility needed for scanning in a harsh warehouse environment.

Socket Mobile provided the solution with its SocketScan S700 series for the fixed iPad terminals and the DuraSled DS800 series for mobile iPod Touch devices.
