FatFace, a UK-based multi-channel fashion retailer, faced the challenge of upgrading its warehouse management system while simultaneously moving to a new national distribution centre. They needed to transition from a highly customized, older version of JDA to a more standard setup without disrupting service to their 230 stores and ecommerce customers. Strict time and budget constraints required an efficient upgrade process to support their fast-paced, six-season business model.

Socius24 was selected to manage the project, implementing an upgrade to the current JDA WMS at the original site before installing it at the new facility. They also developed a streamlined method for eCommerce parcel packing and shipping. As a result, FatFace completed the move and upgrade on time and within budget with no impact on customer deliveries. The operations saw improved speed, reliability, and capacity, supporting business growth and earning FatFace the Warehouse Initiative of the Year award.
