How RFMS Uses Socio’s Event Gamification Feature to Boost Attendee Engagement

RFMS (Resource & Financial Management Systems), the leading business management software provider for the flooring industry, needed to drive higher attendee engagement for both in-person user conferences and remote training while also promoting product education and increasing customer sales. To solve this, RFMS partnered with Socio and used Socio’s event platform—particularly its gamification features—to create interactive experiences before, during, and after events.

Using Socio, RFMS ran pre-event trivia (167 questions) and in-person games (350 questions with a $500 grand prize), plus scavenger hunts, sponsor-focused challenges, Social Wall activities, and questions that required watching tutorials or calling Client Success Managers. The Socio-powered approach boosted session registrations and awareness of RFMS’s training library, improved product usage, strengthened sponsor interactions and team connection during remote work, and ultimately increased RFMS’s ancillary product sales—while generating high attendee participation and leaderboard-driven excitement.
