How Rejuv Used Gamification to Exceed Revenue Goals at their First Virtual Event

Rejuv, a medical aesthetic clinic that relies on live events as a major source of revenue, faced a major challenge in early 2020 when COVID-19 forced them to cancel their planned in-person Radiant event. They needed a way to move the event virtual, keep attendees engaged, and still drive meaningful revenue, so they turned to Socio’s Webex Events platform and its event app.

Socio helped Rejuv build a branded virtual event hub with streaming links, a social wall, and app-based engagement tools, plus a gamification strategy that rewarded purchases with points and displayed live leaderboards. The results were strong: Rejuv achieved 100% app adoption, drew 727 attendees, saw 72% of attendees participate in the game, grew revenue by 10% over the prior year, and generated 122 new patients from the event.
