Broadway Boosters, a Telecharge program focused on generating buzz for Broadway shows, needed to expand its word-of-mouth reach and cultivate an active online presence where social recommendations drive ticket choices. To do this they turned to SocialToaster, using its fan engagement platform to mobilize supporters rather than relying on traditional online ads.
SocialToaster implemented a program that turned passionate fans into advocates, helping Telecharge put show information in front of more eyes through personal recommendations. As a result, Broadway Boosters has grown since summer 2013 to more than 5,600 supporters with a potential reach of over 2.5 million, demonstrating a measurable increase in earned social reach driven by SocialToaster.
