BBC News - Customer Case Study

SocialFlow partnered with the BBC — the UK’s public broadcaster with more than 20,000 staff and roughly 500 social properties worldwide — to address major security and governance risks after a Twitter account hack revealed the lack of an enterprise user/permission framework. The BBC needed a secure, standardized way for journalists across 49 countries to publish safely to Twitter, Facebook and Google+ in multiple languages.

SocialFlow deployed its Enterprise Social platform with SSO integrated into the BBC’s corporate identity system, simplified user provisioning/deprovisioning, and a train‑the‑trainer rollout (10+ super‑users then 1,000+ trained users). The solution strengthened security and drove significant performance gains: posts rose from 20,000 to 87,000 (3.5x), impressions from 400M to 4.5B (12.1x), engagements from 4M to 42M (6.8x), and clicks from 10M to 75M (6.6x).
