A SocialCops Case Study
Large FMCG Company partnered with SocialCops to help launch its anti-bacterial soap in rural India. The challenge was to identify the right rural sub-districts for marketing and sales by finding active disease outbreaks, since rural distribution is difficult and timing promotions to local health needs was critical.
SocialCops built a weekly disease-outbreak tracking dashboard and infection alert system using public health data, proprietary analysis, and alerts at the block level. The solution monitored 822 sub-districts, tracked 20+ diseases over 260 weeks of historical data, and sent real-time weekly alerts so the customer could target campaigns in places like South Bihar when diarrhoea or other diseases were rising.
