Case Study: Leading Telecom Company achieves hyperlocal geo-targeting success with SocialCops

A SocialCops Case Study

Preview of the Leading Telecom Company Case Study

Hyperlocal Geo-Targeting Based on Business Potential

Leading Telecom Company, a telecom giant in India, partnered with SocialCops to identify the best locations for launching a new product across several Tier 2 cities. Rather than targeting every store or city broadly, they needed a hyperlocal way to determine which existing retailers and geographic areas would deliver the strongest business results and where new stores should be opened to reach untapped consumers.

SocialCops built a hyperlocal geo-targeting solution using store-level analysis, business potential scoring, geocoding of incomplete retail addresses, and layered mapping on 2.5 km hexagonal grids. By combining points of interest, demographic and economic data, and proprietary heuristics in an interactive map, SocialCops helped the telecom company pinpoint high-potential stores and expansion zones. The case study highlights improved decision-making and more precise targeting, though it does not provide a specific quantified uplift.
