Case Study: Watertown Regional Medical Center boosts Google ratings and local search visibility with SocialClimb

A SocialClimb Case Study

Preview of the Watertown Regional Medical Center Case Study

How WRMC Jumped from 2.35 to 4.63 Stars in Local Search

Watertown Regional Medical Center partnered with SocialClimb because its strong patient experience was not reflected in its online reputation. Although the hospital had 147 reviews and an overall rating of 3.95 stars, its Google My Business rating was only 2.35 stars, and too few reviews from happy patients were influencing local search visibility.

Using SocialClimb’s review-request platform and Google My Business optimization support, WRMC began automatically asking patients for feedback within 24 hours of discharge on Google, Facebook, and Healthgrades. The results were dramatic: more than 39,000 review requests were sent, public reviews grew from under 150 to over 1,000, Google ratings rose to 4.63 stars, and calls from listings increased from about 700 a month to over 1,600, while website visits climbed from about 600 to over 1,400 a month.
