A Social WiFi Case Study
Hotel Tatry Group, a historic hotel group in Poland, faced the challenge of collecting guest information to drive direct rebookings and reduce reliance on online travel agencies. They needed a solution that could integrate with their existing, valuable WiFi hardware and provide flexible data access for both their central management and individual hotel locations. They partnered with vendor Social WiFi to implement its service.
Social WiFi implemented a cost-effective solution using MikroTik routers that worked with the hotel group's existing infrastructure. They created a hierarchical management system allowing for both consolidated and individual hotel views. This solution enabled the capture of guest data and automated review requests. The results were significant, with over 22,000 CRM entries collected and more than 2,600 positive reviews generated, helping Hotel Tatry Group build a direct marketing channel and boost their online reputation.
