Case Study: Cardinal Golf Group captures 1,000+ guest emails and boosts reviews with Social WiFi

A Social WiFi Case Study

Preview of the Cardinal Golf Group Case Study

Cardinal Golf Club addresses the ball with their new guest WiFi

Cardinal Golf Group, which runs some of Canada’s most prestigious golf courses, needed a way to identify and engage guests who used their clubhouses. Marketing Director Shannon Enwright wanted to capture visitor data beyond known members, but the site’s existing access point hardware was not initially supported by Social WiFi. Social WiFi worked with the club and hardware partners (including a Fortinet integration) to deploy a guest WiFi solution and branded login experience.

Social WiFi implemented a remote installation with a branded Facebook/Google/Email login, a dashboard that exports contacts to any CRM, a review‑gathering tool, and an automated "not‑seen‑in" re‑engagement email. The result: in summer 2019 alone the club collected roughly 950–1,000+ email addresses, generated 200+ review responses with a 4.4 average score (yielding some 150+ positive reviews and up to 171 new Google reviews), daily customer feedback, and targeted lists for marketing — all delivered via Social WiFi.
