The Sheraton Commander, a historic 1926 property with 5,500 sq. ft. of event space in Cambridge, MA, hosts more than 1,500 events a year for weddings, nonprofits, higher-education fundraisers and corporate clients. With a high volume of events and complex seating needs—especially for weddings and university fundraisers—the catering team needed a way to streamline seating logistics, empower clients, and coordinate with vendors efficiently.
By using Social Tables Diagrams and the Attendee Manager, Sheraton Commander creates floorplans and invites clients to upload guest lists and seat their own guests. This collaborative workflow saves staff time, gives clients ownership of seating, improves vendor coordination (including supplying seating card vendors), and delivers more efficient, seamless events.
