How The Baltimore Ravens Optimized Staffing with Real-Time Check-In Data

The Baltimore Ravens needed a better way to invite and manage fans at training camp after moving to a new practice facility with fewer seats and parking spots. They turned to Social Tables, using Seat and the Check-In app to handle a lottery-based invitation system and process about 1,000 fans per practice across four entry points.

With Social Tables, the Ravens uploaded lottery winners each day, identified different attendee types, and streamlined fan check-in. The team also used real-time check-in data to see peak arrival times, check-in rates, and attrition rates, helping them staff parking attendants more efficiently. For one practice, Social Tables showed that 296 of 371 attendees checked in, or 80%, and that most arrived around 7:20 AM for an 8:00 AM practice, giving the Ravens actionable data to justify staffing costs.
