Florida State University Closes More Business with Social Tables Sales Tools

Florida State University's Oglesby Union, the campus community center serving about 1,500 regular clients across student organizations and faculty/staff, needed a better way to manage and maximize event space. Director Matt Watson invested in technology upgrades but identified a missing diagramming solution to improve occupancy tracking and ensure efficient room usage.

They implemented Social Tables on tablets so staff can pull up, project and work from accurate floorplans while clients can build their own diagrams. The tool sped setup and teardown, increased bookings by improving space utilization, strengthened client relationships, and positively impacted the Union’s bottom line—chosen for its internal efficiency and collaborative features.
