A Social Seeder Case Study
Toyota Material Handling Europe partnered with Social Seeder in 2018 to tackle weak social-media-driven website traffic by launching an employee advocacy (ambassador marketing) program. Facing low referral rates from their social channels, they wanted a way to activate employees to share company content from their personal social accounts to build trust and drive visits.
Social Seeder built and managed an ambassador program—identifying and enrolling 225+ internal ambassadors, sharing regular high-quality, public-interest content (for example an AI-based future logistics video) and running contests to boost participation. The results: social-driven traffic rose from 2% to 11% (a reported 500% increase), 55% of ambassadors were active with an average of 2 shares per campaign, and overall reach and website visits significantly improved.
