The Justice & Democracy Center, a project by the District Court of Minnesota, faced the challenge of developing a brand and website that would make the judicial system feel accessible and less intimidating to students and their educators. They needed to bridge a gap between a traditional perception of justice and a more inclusive vision, while also ensuring the brand remained consistent with a physical center that was simultaneously under construction. Social Driver developed a modern, inclusive brand identity and a website with a structure inspired by architectural principles, creating a flexible container for content. They utilized contemporary photography to add energy and appeal to the key audiences. The solution successfully made the justice system feel more approachable, and the close collaboration ensured the physical space and digital presence were cohesively aligned. The resulting website allows users to digitally progress through the center's stations, providing an engaging experience that still encourages on-site visits and serves as a timeless foundation for the project's future evolution.
