SNCF, France’s national railway operator with over 260,000 employees and a vast network of routes, needed a faster, more authentic way to keep customers informed about service changes, construction and delays. Traditional channels weren’t sufficient for real-time public communication, so SNCF launched an employee ambassador program to leverage staff social networks and firsthand expertise.

Using the Sociabble platform and the #TeamSNCF identity, SNCF recruited 170 ambassadors who share curated company news and behind-the-scenes content. The program drove strong engagement—93% of ambassadors used the hashtag, producing about 608 tweets per month and three million views in a year—tripling organic reach and establishing employees as a reliable first line of customer communication while also boosting their personal online profiles.
