Microsoft Launches Employee Advocacy on a Global Scale with Sociabble

Microsoft needed a way to scale an employee advocacy program globally while still addressing regional needs. After piloting several tools, the company chose Sociabble and launched a pilot in select countries to define objectives and structure, ultimately engaging around 17,000 employees across 40 countries.

By aggregating company social streams, curated feeds and executive accounts, and using dynamic, localized channels (20 standardized channels, available in five languages), Sociabble delivered tailored global and local content to employees. The rollout mobilized roughly 10,000 users on the platform and is estimated to generate 350–500 million potential impressions per year—equivalent to about $5–10 million in advertising value—while improving engagement visibility and enabling targeted regional campaigns.
