Microsoft France Engages 4000 Super Fans on House of Fans, an Exclusive Engagement and Advocacy Community

Microsoft France set out to turn its most passionate customers and influencers into informed brand ambassadors and boost organic visibility, while better understanding fans’ expectations. The challenge was to recruit, engage and enable a select community of “super fans” beyond traditional social channels.

Their answer was House of Fans, a private, gamified community built with Sociabble that combined exclusive content, quizzes, badges, UGC moderation and real-world events. A recruitment campaign yielded 10,000 applications and 4,000 members; within the first three months the platform generated 5,000 pieces of UGC, 400,000 engagement actions, 15,000 external shares, a 3 million organic reach, engagement rates up to 5× those on social networks and 75% daily active users.
