ExterionMedia Places Employees at the Forefront of Internal Communication, with Sociabble

ExterionMedia, a large outdoor advertising company undergoing a cultural shift under its CAP 2017 program, set out to move from top-down messaging to an employee-centered internal communication model. With 70% of staff spread across France, leadership needed to build trust and find a simple, real-time tool that would let employees share ideas and information from anywhere.

They deployed Sociabble—an intuitive, social-style platform with user-generated content, gamification and campaign tools—and launched it through 44 local ambassadors. The rollout drove rapid adoption (83% membership in two weeks and nearly everyone active after two months), with employees generating 78% of content and a fivefold increase in information sharing; Sociabble has since replaced traditional intranet/email as the company’s main internal communication channel.
