BNP Paribas Personal Finance, a wholly owned BNP Paribas subsidiary and Europe’s leading personal finance provider present in 33 countries, wanted to turn employee pride into visible advocacy. Internal research showed 99% of staff were proud to represent the company but 98% were not sharing on social media because they didn’t know how or were afraid of doing it wrong. The challenge was to engage employees across France with a trustworthy, easy-to-use program that encouraged sharing.
They chose Sociabble after benchmarking platforms — it was already used within the BNP group and offered the most advanced gamification. Senior leadership, including General Director Laurent David, led by example through a spokesperson project, and the launch combined workshops, an “ambassador” coffee, creative activities and a conference featuring peer testimonials. The result was an effective, fun rollout that mobilized employees in France and jump-started adoption of employee advocacy and social sharing.
