Ace Hardware, one of the largest retailer-owned cooperatives in the world, needed a better way to manage local social media marketing across thousands of locations. The company wanted its local marketing efforts to be easy enough for busy retail owners to use while still improving adoption at scale, and it worked with SOCi’s multi-location platform to address that challenge.

SOCi’s Community Calendar gave Ace Hardware corporate teams a way to pre-schedule content and ad promotions that local users could opt into for their own social accounts. After two months, Ace Hardware saw a 66% increase in the number of locations posting locally, along with a 6.5X increase in users posting ads, a 6X increase in ad engagement, and a 63% increase in the number of local posts.
