Verto Analytics, a pioneer in digital multi-screen media measurement serving clients like Zynga, Spotify and SONOS, needed to build a demand-generation funnel, increase brand awareness and drive qualified leads after expanding its marketing team in 2016. With limited resources, the company wanted a scalable, targeted way to reach marketing and market-research professionals on social media and nurture them toward sales-ready opportunities.
Verto implemented Socedo to find Twitter users discussing topics like consumer research and media consumption and to follow relevant followers of industry publications; followed users who followed back received DMs with white papers and reports and were synced into HubSpot for automated nurture (newsletters, webinar invites and 6–8 email touches). The program helped Verto 10x its Twitter following (from ~750 to >7,600), significantly lifted engagement and share of voice, attracted more press attention, added 273 new HubSpot subscribers and produced 8 Marketing Qualified Leads, while also refining audience targeting via campaign reports.
