A Socedo Case Study
Slope is a media collaboration and workflow platform that helps marketing and creative teams plan, collaborate, and execute visual content. As a startup launching their private beta, Slope needed feedback, responses and signups, but found Twitter direct-message norms restrictive and uncertain for effective outreach.
Using Socedo to automate and A/B test personalized DMs, Slope deliberately broke conventional DM rules—sending slightly longer, more personal messages with a clear CTA—and iterated on wording by audience. Results were strong: click-through rates climbed to 34–38%, response rates hit as high as 33% and conversions reached 9–15%; after a year their Twitter grew to nearly 10,000 followers and generated over 600 signups, with site visitor conversion from DMs around 12–15%.
