Fatstax builds customized iPad and mobile sales applications to help field reps access product information and close deals, but needed a scalable way to fill the top of the funnel with qualified B2B leads. Co-founder Rusty Bishop, who was new to Twitter, wanted to raise awareness among account executives and content marketers and drive more demo requests.
Rusty used Socedo to discover and engage relevant Twitter users, sending helpful direct-message productivity tips that pointed recipients to Fatstax content and gated offers nurtured in HubSpot. As a result, Twitter became Fatstax’s second-largest acquisition channel after organic search, a Socedo lead converted to a major deal in 19 days, Rusty’s followers grew from 1,500 to 6,738 in four months, and a single DM campaign produced 67 clicks and 33 responses.
