MSN needed a real user monitoring solution as it relaunched MSN.com on a new Microsoft Azure-based architecture and rolled out to 55 countries. With more than 300 million users worldwide, MSN wanted to understand real performance across devices and regions and ensure the site met expectations at launch.
SOASTA provided mPulse, a real user monitoring platform that Microsoft used to visualize performance in real time, track user experience by region, and identify issues such as slow performance in Australia. After launch, MSN used SOASTA mPulse to set page-load targets, monitor week-by-week progress, and quickly pinpoint regressions, helping drive ongoing performance improvements and faster remediation.
