Myron Corporation, a global leader in personalized business gifts and promotional products, re-platformed its ecommerce sites and needed confidence that the new system could handle the heavy traffic of the holiday season. Before its busiest sales period, Myron turned to SOASTA and its CloudTest On-Demand service to validate performance in production and avoid any risk to customer experience or conversions.
SOASTA tested multiple customer journeys under normal and peak holiday-like loads, helping Myron simulate realistic browsing, personalization, cart, and checkout paths. The results showed the sites could handle more than twice the forecasted peak capacity, including traffic spikes of up to 120%, while giving Myron the data to optimize capacity planning and reduce the need for extra hardware or headcount.
