Intuit needed to prepare TurboTax Online for major tax-season traffic spikes, especially around the April 14–15 filing deadline, and wanted to ensure the site could handle both steady use and sudden surges. It turned to SOASTA and its CloudTest load testing solution to quickly and precisely replicate expected user demand.

SOASTA’s CloudTest On-Demand helped Intuit simulate traffic at 200% of anticipated peak load, even while real customers were on the production site. The testing uncovered component- and system-level issues such as load balancer and login problems, which Intuit fixed before the deadline, giving the company greater confidence in site performance and helping protect millions of last-minute filers.
