Case Study: Volt Bank achieves secure, compliant build pipelines with Snyk

A Snyk Case Study

Preview of the Volt Bank Case Study

Volt Bank evolves build pipeline with Snyk to enable secure and compliant customer experience

Volt Bank, an Australian challenger bank required to meet APRA regulations, faced an immature build pipeline with limited visibility into security issues and a need to segregate build and deploy duties while keeping seamless Git workflows. To remove vulnerabilities across its digital presence without slowing devops, Volt engaged Snyk’s lightweight, dev‑first SaaS to fit into developer workflows and support rapid, open‑source‑driven development.

Snyk was rolled out across Volt’s container image workstreams, scanning third‑party libraries when Docker images are created and performing daily scans on the latest images, with Jira integration enabling developers to create tickets directly from findings. As a result, Snyk closed the developer feedback loop, gave clear visibility of high/medium/low vulnerabilities, and enabled Volt to confidently secure its build pipelines and deployment processes by flagging new issues as soon as they appear.
