Telenor Denmark, a telecom company with about 50 developers, wanted to strengthen application security around open source code and containers as the risk from vulnerabilities like Log4Shell continued to grow. The team needed a developer-friendly way to reduce security exposure without slowing delivery, and turned to Snyk for support.

Snyk implemented open source dependency and container vulnerability scanning, integrated with Bitbucket and Jira so developers could find and track issues in their normal workflow. As a result, Telenor improved its vulnerability risk posture by 49% over six months, fixed 10x more critical vulnerabilities, and was able to detect and remediate Log4Shell across the organization more proactively than before.
