How Atlassian Surfaces Snyk Vulnerability Insights to Thousands of Developers

Atlassian needed to scale application security across a rapidly growing engineering organization and wanted a developer-friendly, managed solution that wouldn’t require them to run their own infrastructure. To meet this challenge they partnered with Snyk, adopting Snyk Container for enterprise-wide container scanning and Snyk Open Source for dependency/SCA scanning.

Snyk rolled out automatic container and dependency scans (including a bulk-scanning feature) and surfaced actionable findings to 3,500+ developers via remediation tickets and pipeline integrations. As a result Atlassian now scans 100% of deployed containers, has run 5.5 million dependency scans and 3.7 million container scans, and reduced high-severity container vulnerabilities by 65% (and critical by 39%) within months—while reporting fewer false positives and supporting SOC 2 and other compliance needs.
