Auth0, a high-growth technology company, needed a way to help engineers build and ship secure code without slowing development. With a Node.js stack full of open source dependencies, the team faced the challenge of quickly identifying and prioritizing vulnerabilities while maintaining visibility into their software supply chain. They turned to Snyk to support a shift-left approach to developer security.

Using Snyk, Auth0 integrated automated vulnerability scanning into its development environment, including Docker-based security containers, so engineers could find and fix issues themselves. The solution helped Auth0 scale security without significantly growing the security team, improve vulnerability prioritization and remediation speed, and track progress through metrics such as vulnerabilities resolved each month, resolution time, and SLA breaches.
